The Cayuga County Council of Senior Citizens was formed in 1973 to provide Senior Citizens a forum to express their common concerns and interests. The Council played an important role in bringing federal and state funding to Cayuga County to create our local Office for the Aging.
Today, the Council of Senior Citizens continues to provide this forum as well as to collect information and inform members on ways to take action that will improve the quality of life for all Senior Citizens in Cayuga County. At Council meetings, members receive updates on current senior issues and learn about new programs for seniors available in Cayuga County.
Any Senior Citizen (50+ years of age) is invited to join the Council. For more information on how you can join, call the
Office for the Aging at 315-253-1226. |
