BusinessesBeacon Bay Marine/Beacon Bay Enterprises, Inc.Beacon Bay Enterprises, Inc. is a family owned corporation established to redevelop the site of the former Beacon Milling Company. The corporation was formed in 1988 as a successor corporation to Lake View Boathaulers. The corporation is owned by the Mills family, village residents since 1964. The Beacon property was acquired in 1982, and has been undergoing transformation to a full service marina. The sheltered bay, depth of water and close proximity to the Seneca River and Barge Canal provide an ideal location. Including in the plans is dock space for up to 60 boats, a store with grocery and marine supplies, haul out and launch facilities with gas and mechanical repair service. Beacon Bay is currently the home port of Midtakes Navigation Canal Tour Boats. Cayuga Wooden Boat Co., a classic and antique wooden boat refinisher, occupy recently renovated buildings. The car shed previously used to load livestock feed into railroad cars, now provides covered winter storage for more than 65 boats and other recreational vehicles. Cayuga Wooden Boatworks We are primarily engaged in the repair and restoration of wooden boats from small boat to boats 60' in length. We are also capable of building custom wood boats from dinghies to large sailboats and cruisers. Towpath Machine Corporation Towpath Machine is located on Water Street in the Village of Cayuga. We have been providing precision machined products throughout the U.S. & Canada since 1958.
