Please note the following: If, by the registration deadline, student registrations for Cayuga County Fire / EMS courses reach the maximum number of students allowed per New York State course capacity, Cayuga County residents will have preference over out of County residents. If course registrations do not exceed the maximum number of students allowed, then registrations are accepted on "first come, first serve" basis.

CAYUGA COUNTY FIRE/EMS PHOTO ID SESSION LOCATION: Cayuga County Office Building - Basement Level DATE(S): NEXT SESSION WILL BE SCHEDULED IN MAY 2010 TIME: TO BE ANNOUNCED APPOINTMENTS REQUIRED - No Walk-Ins Must have a completed Photo ID Form with Chief's original signature at time of appointment.

FF1 Refresher Training - (9 hours) LOCATION: Cayuga County Fire Training Tower DATE(S): 1/18, 2/8 & 3/15 - 2010 TIME: Mondays - 7pm-10pm PRE-REQUISITE(S): Firefighter 1 or Equivalent CLOSING DATE FOR PRE-REGISTRATION: Monday, January 11th, 2010

Principles of Building Construction Combustible LOCATION: Aurora Fire Department DATE(S): 2/16, 2/23, 3/2 & 3/16 2010 TIME: Tuesdays 7pm - 10pm PRE-REQUISITE(S): Scene Support Operations CLOSING DATE FOR PRE-REGISTRATION: Monday, February 1st, 2010

Firefighter 1 ***COURSE IS FULL - CLOSED*** LOCATION: Cayuga County Fire Training Tower Mandatory Orientation: Monday 2/15/10 @ 1900 - Must be accompanied by a Chief or Training Officer from their department. DATE(S): 3/3, 3/8, 3/10, 3/13, 3/17, 3/22, 3/24, 3/27, 3/29, 3/31, 4/3, 4/5, 4/7, 4/12, 4/14, 4/17, 4/19, 4/21 & 4/24 TIME: Mondays & Wednesdays 1900 & Saturdays 0800 PRE-REQUISITE(S): SCBA Qualified & Training Authorization Letter Need: Students need to bring their own copy of Delmar Firefighter Handbook 2nd Edition, New York Edition, a 35 ft personal safety rope, and a complete set of properly fitting & serviceable PPE with SCBA (full bottles) Also, students must have a NIMS/ICS 100 Certificate by Day 2.
