- Leaves ONLY placed in clear plastic bags (40# weight limit) & brush no longer than 6 feet will be picked up on the last Wednesday of the month from April to September. These items must be placed on the edge of the roadway by 7:00 a.m. that Wednesday but no earlier than the Sunday before. Due to strict NYS DEC regulations, we DO NOT pick up garden waste, grass clippings, seaweed, dead flowers, nuts, weeds or animal waste. Contractors cutting down trees on privately owned property are responsible for removing the debris.
