Health has regulations regarding the
installation of private wells.
These requirements can be found at
Appendix 5-B Standard for Water
Wells. Questions regarding
these requirements can be directed

Department, Division of
Environmental Health. |

All well drillers in New York State
must be registered with the New York
State Department of Environmental
Conservation. Information
regarding the registration
