Bicycle Safety |
|
|
|
|
Bicycles are a common
form of transportation throughout the
year and is also a great way to
exercise. That is why
it is very important for you to know and
practice good bicycle safety rules and
laws. In New York State, anyone
under the age of 14 is required to wear
a bicycle helmet. It is estimated
that 31% of all bicycle related injuries
involve brain injury. Since this
law was passed, head injuries have been
reduced by 85%.
