About Us

Cayuga County Nursing Home (CCNH) is a government sponsored facility that has been in operation since 1984.  It is a small 80-bed facility located in a quiet rural setting in the Town of Sennett in Auburn, New York.

We provide services which include skilled nursing, physical, occupational, and speech therapies, social work, and clinical nutritional services.  Our staff consists of Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nurses Aids, Nurse Practitioner, Medical Doctors, Social Workers, and Nutritionists.  We also have made available for a dentist, podiatrist, optometrist, and a psychologist to provide services at our facility on an as needed basis or by request.

All residents participate in daily activities either in a group setting or individually in the resident's room.  Each room is furnished with an air conditioning/heating unit, bathroom, and 2-way communication with the main nursing station.  Cable and telephone hookups are also available.

Our gift shop, which is solely operated by the residents of Cayuga County Nursing Home, is open on a daily basis.  Resident's have worked hard to make the gift shop a success, while it gives them a chance to get to know family members as well as visit with fellow residents.

We here at Cayuga County Nursing Home look forward to working with you as you make us your home away from home as we provide the latest in health care to the elder members of the community while maintaining our focus on the individual needs of the patients with compassion and understanding.
