The Cayuga County Department of Planning and Economic Development is the primary contact agency for businesses and entrepreneurs seeking assistance within Cayuga County. We promote policies and programs which support and encourage economic vitality throughout Cayuga County.

Through use of private, state, federal and County financial resources and technical assistance, the staff of the Cayuga County Department of Planning and Economic Development works to support business, developers and units of local government in economic development pursuits. Staff support is also provided to the Cayuga County Industrial Development Agency.
