Circuit Court Minutes 1797 - 1831


These books contain court cases for the county of Onondaga and Cayuga, presided over by the Supreme Court of the Judicature. The Supreme Court Justices had jurisdiction over points of law raised in proceedings in the circuit courts. They also reviewed cases from county level civil and criminal courts and justice courts. The court held two regular terms per year.
