September 19, 2001

This special meeting of the Scipio Town Board was called to order at 6:46 pm by Town Supervisor Chuck Howell with the following present:

Supervisor: Chuck Howell Clerk: Judith Rowlands

Council Members: Phil Buckhout Highway Superintendent: Ron Walter

Gary Goodnough

Greg Rury

Gary Whitten

Supervisor Howell announced that the purpose of the meeting was to approve 2 vouchers for payment.

MOTION: To waive review of the minutes of the September 5, 2001 regular meeting. (Howell/Whitten). All in favor.

RESOLUTION: To make the following budget transfers:

$18,000.00 from Building Reserve to Highway Garage Project

$98,000.00 from General Fund to Highway Garage Project

(Howell/Buckhout). All in favor.

Highway Superintendent Ron Walter presented estimates for water pump and tank, and propane rates.

MOTION: To have Ron Addy install water pump and tank

according to his quote. (Howell/Buckhout) All in favor.

MOTION: To purchase propane from E & V Energy according to rates quoted unless Community Propane is significantly lower.

(Howell. Whitten). All in favor.

MOTION: To accept and approve the following bills for payment from the audited

vouchers. (Goodnough/Whitten). All in favor.

Highway: Voucher # 76 179.97

Highway Garage Project: Voucher # 15 116,344.60

Total: 116,524.57

The next regular meeting is scheduled for Wednesday October 10, 2001 at 7:30 pm at the Scipio Town Barn.

MOTION: To adjourn the meeting at 7:00 pm. (Goodnough/Rury).
