This regular meeting was called to order at 7:34 pm by Supervisor Chuck
Howell with the following present:

Absent: Councilman Gary Whitten
MOTION: To accept the minutes of the May 5, 2004 meeting as written. (Buckhout/Rury). All in
favor.
RECOGNIZE VISITORS: Town Supervisor Chuck Howell welcomed the guests. Legislator George Fearon reported on county staffing policies.
COMMUNICATIONS:
a. Received from state for Town Justices: $2060.00
b. Received for snow removal aid: $8613.53
c. Report on meeting of area town officials May 27
d. Received mortgage tax: $12,174.95
e. Zoning Board of Appeals hearing scheduled for June 17th at 7 pm.
f. Notice of continuing educations requirements for assessor
MOTION: To not participate in July meeting of area town officials, and see what develops.
(Howell/Buckhout) All in favor.
OLD BUSINESS: It was agreed to purchase a water cooler for $132.00 rather than continuing
to rent. There was discussion regarding junk cars in the town.
HIGHWAY SUPERINTENDENT: Road repair and maintenance, and trimming roadsides continues.
NEW BUSINESS:
MOTION: To approve the audit of the books of the Supervisor, Clerk, and Tax Collector.
(Rury/Buckhout). All in favor.
MOTION: To appoint Gary Goodnough alternate representative to Cayuga Lake Intermunicipal
Organization. (Howell/Buckhout). All in favor.
MOTION: To accept the April 2004 Supervisor’s Monthly Reports. (Buckhout/Goodnough). All in favor.
MOTION: To accept and approve the following vouchers for payment:
General: Vouchers # 92-113 $ 6,612.18
Highway: Vouchers # 31-38 65,840.82
Total:
$ 72,453.00 (Goodnough/Buckhout) All in favor.
MOTION: To adjourn the meeting at 8:22 pm. (Buckhout/Goodnough). All in favor.
