This regular meeting was called to order at 7:33 pm by Supervisor Chuck Howell with the following present:

MOTION:            To accept the minutes of the June 9, 2004 meeting as written.

                        (Goodnough/Buckhout).   All in favor.

 

RECOGNIZE VISITORS

 

COMMUNICATIONS: 

            a.            Cooperative Extension program for reporting odors – call 252-4171

            b.            Email regarding Deschl property in Sherwood.

            c.            Letter from Joan Powers regarding pending sale of her property

            d.            Records Management Grant has been approved for part of amount requested.

            e.            Intermunicipal Organization Meeting – August meeting to be in Scipio

                        August 25, 2004 at 7:00 pm.         

           

OLD BUSINESS:  None

NEW BUSINESS:           

MOTION:                        To approve the audit of the books of Justices Brian Dugan and Jill Dugan.            

                        (Whitten/Goodnough).  All in favor.

 

MOTION:            To appoint the following Election Inspectors and Voting Machine Technician
for a term of one year (July 14, 2004 – July 13, 2005)

MOTION:       To appoint Sandie Gilliland as Deputy Registrar of Vital Statistics. (Howell/Buckhout).  All in favor.

                       

MOTION:            To change the date of the August regular Town Board meeting to August 18, 2004 at 7:30 pm. (Howell/Rury).  All in favor.

 

 

MOTION:            To sell the old sprayer, subject to review of procedure by Attorney Baier.  (Howell/Buckhout).  All in favor.

 

MOTION:                        To accept the May 2004 Supervisor’s Monthly Reports. (Buckhout/Whitten). 

                        All in favor.

 

MOTION:                        To accept and approve the following vouchers for payment:         

                                    General:   Vouchers #   114-129   $  2,570.04                                             

                                    Highway:   Vouchers  #  39-46       36,981.52

                                    Total:                                            $  39,551.56

MOTION:            To adjourn the meeting at 8:10 pm. (Buckhout/Howell).  All in favor.

The next regular meeting has been rescheduled for 7:30 pm on Wednesday August 18, 2004.
