This regular meeting was called to order at 7:36 pm by Supervisor Chuck
Howell with the following present:

MOTION: To accept the minutes of the November 3, 2004 Budget Hearing and regular meeting as written. (Goodnough/Rury). All in favor.
Supervisor Howell welcomed the visitors, and Bill Speck made a presentation about the services
BOCES provides and the need for a new building. For Southern Cayuga School District, Voting
will take place on Tuesday December 14th from 7 am to 9 pm at the Planetarium.
Robb Jetty described his efforts to have a wind generator set up on his property, and asked for
the town’s cooperation in complying with NYSERDA regulations regarding alternative
energy sources. Attorney Jim Baier will research procedure for appropriate town regulation.
COMMUNICATIONS:
a. Mortgage tax received $13889.61.
b. Supervisor Howell attended the Cayuga County Supervisors’ meeting 12/2/04.
c. Received $1822.50 in court fees.
d. Received letter from District Attorney regarding cutbacks in service.
e. Retirement payments – save $162 by paying early
f. MEGA electrical and gas alliance
MOTION: To approve the audit of the books of the Supervisor, Justices, Town Clerk. (Goodnough/Whitten). All in favor.
HIGHWAY SUPERINTENDENT: Ron Walter reported there may be a need to upgrade the radio system to ensure compatibility.
RESOLUTION: To make the following budget transfers:

make the following change in Transfer Station & Recycling Center hours
during the holiday season: No hours
Christmas Day December 25, 2004 and New Years Day January 1, 2005. Hours Sunday December 26th 9 am –1 pm, and Sunday January 2nd
9 am –1 pm. (Howell/Goodnough). All in favor.
MOTION: To accept and approve the following vouchers for payment:

The year-end Town Board meeting and holiday get together is scheduled for Wednesday
December 29, 2004 at 7:30 pm. The public is welcome.
