This regular meeting was called to order at 7:30 pm by Supervisor Chuck Howell with the following present:

Supervisor:                   Charles Howell            

Council Members:              Greg Rury, Gary Goodnough       

                                    Phil Buckhout, Gary Whitten Judith Rowlands

Guests:                         Fred Delaney, Jim Baier, George Fearon, Robb Jetty II,

                                    Judith Rowlands

 

MOTION:                   To accept the minutes of the January 12, 2005 regular meeting as written. (Goodnough/Buckhout).   All in favor.

 

Supervisor Howell welcomed the visitors.  Attorney Jim Baier reported that he met with

the Town Planning Board last month and they are researching some of the issues regarding

a town ordinance for wind generators.  County Legislator George Fearon reported on

Native American issues. 

 

COMMUNICATIONS:

a.            Received State Real Property Aid of $1998.00

b.            Cayuga County Intermunicipal Organization meeting – floating classroom

                        is available for school and adult groups

c.            Notice of Public Hearing for Fleming’s Zoning Changes

d.            Assemblyman Kolb will be here at 10 am on February 21st

e.            Thank you from Southern Cayuga Senior for town’s contributions

 

There was no Highway Superintendent’s Report as Ron was out plowing.

 

MOTION:                   To approve the Supervisor’s Monthly Reports for December 2004.

                                    (Buckhout/Whitten).  All in favor.

                       

MOTION:                               To accept and approve the following vouchers for payment:         

                                    General:   Vouchers #   19-38              $3272.95

                                    Highway:  Vouchers #  6-14                      2992.45

                                    TOTAL                                                6265.40

                                    (Goodnough/Rury). All in favor.

 

MOTION:            To adjourn the meeting at 8:14 pm. (Buckhout/Howell).  All in favor.

 

The next regular Town Board meeting is scheduled for Wednesday March 9, 2005

at 7:30 pm.  The public is welcome.
