This regular meeting was called to order at 7:37 pm by Supervisor Chuck
Howell with the following present:

Absent: Philip Buckhout, Gary Whitten
MOTION: To accept the minutes of the November 16, 2005 regular meeting as written.
(Goodnough/Rury). All in favor.
COMMUNICATIONS:
a. Court fees received $2435.00
b. Howland collection sold on Ebay to Brad Mitchell
c. “Rural Futures” article on “Decentralized Wastewater Treatment”
d. FEMA and flood zones.
e. Annual landfill testing has been done.
HIGHWAY SUPERINTENDENT: Ron Walter reported the CHIPS check had not come yet.
The board approved the purchase of second-hand scaffolding.
OLD BUSINESS: There was a discussion regarding employee sick, personal & vacation policy.
MOTION: To amend the current policy to allow accumulation of sick leave up to 195 days. (Howell/Goodnough). All in favor.
MOTION: To amend the current policy to allow vacation time as follows:
1st year of employment: 1 week vacation
2nd – 5th year of employment: 1 additional day per year
6th – 10th year of employment: 2 weeks
10th – 20th year of employment: 3 weeks
20th year of employment + up: 4 weeks (Howell/Goodnough). All in favor.
Supervisor Howell will put together a draft of a Proposed Personnel Policy to review in January.
MOTION: To approve the audit of the books of the Supervisor, Justices, Town Clerk. (Goodnough/Rury). All in favor.
MOTION: To approve the Supervisor’s monthly reports for October 2005.
(Goodnough/Rury). All in favor.
MOTION: To accept and approve the following vouchers for payment:
General: Vouchers # 209-224 $ 5,922.61
Highway: Vouchers # 89-98 10,535.41
Total: $ 16,458.02 (Goodnough/Rury). All in favor.
MOTION: To adjourn the meeting at 8:40 pm. (Goodnough/Rury). All in favor.
The year-end Town Board meeting and holiday get together is scheduled for Thursday
December 29, 2005 at 7:30 pm. The public is welcome.
