Public Hearing for 2007 Budget

This Public Hearing for the Preliminary 2007 Budget was called to order at 7:00 pm by Town Supervisor Chuck Howell with the following present:

Supervisor: Chuck Howell Clerk: Judith Rowlands

Council Members: Phil Buckhout, Gary Goodnough, Greg Rury, Gary Whitten

Supervisor Howell opened the floor for any comments or questions on the

Preliminary Budget. There were no questions or comments.

RESOLUTION: To adopt the Preliminary 2007 Budget as the Final 2007 Budget.

(Buckhout/Whitten). All in favor.

MOTION: To adjourn the Public Hearing at 7:23 pm. (Goodnough/Rury).

All in favor.

Special Meeting

This special meeting was called to order at 7:23 pm by Supervisor Chuck Howell with the following present:

Supervisor: Charles Howell Town Attorney: Jim Baier

Council Members: Phil Buckhout Town Clerk: Judith Rowlands

Gary Goodnough

Greg Rury Candidates for Town Justice Position:

Gary Whitten Robin Brown (7:15 pm), Keith Batman (7:45 pm)

Applicants for Town Justice Robin Brown and Keith Batman were interviewed. After each applicant had left,

there was brief discussion. Both candidates were well qualified, so the decision was difficult.

MOTION: To appoint Robin Brown as temporary Town Justice until the next General Election.

(Howell/Buckhout). All in favor.

MOTION: To adjourn the meeting at 8:10 pm. (Goodnough/Whitten). All in favor.

The next regular meeting is scheduled for 7:30 pm Wednesday December 13, 2006, and will be preceded by the semi-annual audit of the books at 7:00 pm.
