Town Newsletters
Can be downloaded here or are otherwise available at the Town Office or the Scipio Post Office. Please contact the Town Clerk if you would like to have the newsletter mailed to you.

Transfer Station and Recycling Center
Location:
Route 34 at Quarry Road (south of Town Office Buildings)

Hours:
Saturday 10 am to 4 pm

Household refuse must be bagged and tagged with stickers available at the Transfer Station or Town Office
for $2.50 each or $12.50 for a sheet of 5.

The Town cannot accept: scrap metal, mattresses, tires, refrigerators, or freezers.

Please recycle: number 2 plastics, aluminum cans, glass (clear and colored), newspapers, magazines.

Recycle inkjet & laser printer cartidges; it's free; it's easy.
Pick up postage paid mailing envelopes, or drop off cartridges at the Town Office.
(Clerk's hours are Mon 9-1, Wed 3-5, Sat 9-1)

Building Permits
are required for all new construction, renovations, alterations, swimming pools both in-ground and above-ground.
