 Village Board Meetings: Second Wednesday of each month, 7 p.m. Held at the Village Hall, 8892 South Street, Weedsport NY, 13166 Joint Planning Board Meetings: The Joint Planning Board meets at the Town of Brutus Offices, generally the fourth Wednesday of each month at 7 p.m. Persons wishing to appear before the Joint Planning Board should contact the Town of Brutus at least 3 weeks prior to the meeting. Zoning Board of Appeals Meetings: Third Thursday of any month in which an application is received. Held at the Village Hall. Applicants for variances must file with the Village Clerk and pay a $40 fee to cover advertisement and mailings. Public notice must be given a minimum of 7 days prior to the meeting so persons should apply as soon as possible. Court Is Held: Monday evenings at 7 p.m. at the Village Hall, Justice Glyn Fritsch presiding. The court clerk is Wendy Bates. Phone: (315) 834-8634. Her part-time office hours are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. RECYCLING: THURSDAY 9-5, SATURDAY 7-3. Village residents can obtain a free permit (replacements cost $2.00). Town of Brutus residents can use the recycling center after purchasing a $25 annual permit. Permits can be purchased either at the Town or Village offices. Trash can be brought on Saturdays with $1 stickers. PERMITS ARE REQUIRED |
