The Village of Weedsport and the Town of Brutus formed a Joint Planning Board which is administered by the Town of Brutus, 834-9398. Zoning Board of Appeals:
Tim Ganey. Building Permits are needed for most work. If you have a question on whether a permit is needed, please call the Village Office (315) 834-6634. The Code Enforcement Officer is available on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to Noon at the Town of Brutus Office, 9021 N. Seneca St., Weedsport. Permit Applications are available at the Village Office Village Hall. There is a fee and an application should be applied for a minimum of 2 weeks before work is scheduled to begin. James Saroodis, (315) 834-6411. DPW hours are 6 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday thru Thursday, 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday from the first Monday in May to the first Friday in October.
