Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP)
Plan and implement practices to:
- Reduce or eliminate erosion and sediment loading to waterbodies during construction
- Control impact of stormwater runoff on water quality of receiving waters
- Control increased volume and peak rate of runoff during and after construction
Erosion and Sediment Control Plan
- Requires erosion and sediment controls
- Single family home disturbing more than one but less than five acres and not part of a larger plan of development
- Certain construction activities at agricultural properties
Full SWPPP
- Includes Erosion and Sediment Control Plan
- All construction projects disturbing more than one acre require a full SWPPP except for those listed above under the Erosion and Sediment Control Plan
- Also, all projects located in a TMDL(total maximum daily limit) watershed or directly discharging to an impaired 303 (d) water (Little Sodus Bay) with sediment or phosphorus identified as a polluntant of concern require a full SWPPP.
